Terms of Service

By using Works Well ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

Works Well is a job board and community platform connecting parents seeking flexible work with UK employers. We provide the platform and community tools; we are not a recruitment agency and do not guarantee employment.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or community content
  • Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users
  • Scrape, copy, or republish content without permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

4. Community Forum

The community forum is a place for supportive, constructive discussion. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our community guidelines or these Terms, and to suspend or delete accounts that repeatedly breach them.

5. Employer Listings

Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their job listings. All listings must comply with UK employment law, including the Equality Act 2010. Works Well reserves the right to remove any listing that we consider misleading, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.

6. Payments

Employer subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

7. Intellectual Property

The Works Well brand, design, and original content are owned by Works Well. User-generated content (forum posts, profile information) remains yours, but by posting it you grant us a licence to display it on the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

Works Well is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the Service will meet your requirements. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
