We are looking for applicants with proven experience in the care sector.
All new starters will be given the opportunity for specialist training and also support in completion of the care certificate.

Understands the need for strict confidentiality
Previous experience in a care environment or able to demonstrate a caring nature/ life experience

Working knowledge of complex care needs of some families including Safeguarding Children & Adults, Domestic Abuse and Mental Health

GCSE's (grade C/5 or above) in maths and English, or Functional Skills level 2 in both of those subjects as a minimum entry requirement

Basic computer/keyboard skills
Fine motor skills - for venepuncture, phlebotomy and other clinical tasks
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work under instruction, under pressure and as part of a team
Record keeping competency in handwritten and electronic records
Able to demonstrate empathy, sensitivity, and to adapt communication style to circumstances
Able to manage stress in themselves and others
Able to offer support at times of emotional distress
Willingness to undertake new skills and training
Ability to adapt behaviour to changing and challenging situations.
To be flexible, adaptable, reliable and punctual.
